Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between facials and advanced skin treatments?

Facials focus on skin maintenance and relaxation, while advanced skin treatments aim to tackle specific skin issues. Advanced treatments are usually more intensive and may require downtime depending on the procedure, whereas facials are generally gentler and have minimal to no recovery time. Both will always focus on improving the appearance of the skin.

What treatment should I schedule?

There’s a variety of treatments to choose from. If you want a relaxing treatment, you can always search under “facials” and read the descriptions that best suit you. If you want to correct a skin concern, it is best to schedule a consultation to determine the best advance treatment to address your issue.

How often can I get a facial?

We recommend facials every 4-6 weeks as it prevents excess dead skin build up and allows for better absorption of products.

What if I am taking medications?

Taking antibiotics or topical acne medications such as (but not limited to) Retinols, Epiduo, Differin, Alpha hydroxy acids etc. can cause skin sensitivity. Please notate all medications in your intake form to ensure you can receive any treatment.

How do I prepare for my treatment?

Please arrive on time, with a bare face. If you are coming from work, a makeup wipe will be provided. Best to wear comfortable clothing and try to use the restroom prior to setting foot into the treatment room. This will ensure that you are fully comfortable while receiving your treatment with zero disruptions.
